Faith in Action Series: Empowering Youth to Protect One Another

Together, Nick and Jo hosted Shared Hope’s Faith in Action webinar series for Human Trafficking Awareness Month, January 2022.  Through conversation, discussion and empowering you to become involved – we put the tools into your hands. In this presentation, Nick and Jo hosted the conversation: what are the root issues that cause minor sex trafficking in the USA? “What are kids looking for and why?”, what are the vulnerabilities of victims, and “How can I protect my kids from being preyed upon?” and culture seems sex driven today, “How can I instill respect in my children for themselves and others?” From their own life experience, Nick and Jo shared about raising three sons and a daughter, and how their work is an echo of wanting to protect their own six grandchildren from cultural grooming and the dangers it brings.
